Not only possessing advanced machines for the construction industry, China is also famous for its modern transportation system that amazes the whole world. Among them is Siduhe - the world's tallest bridge from 2009 to 2016.

Siduhe is located at an altitude of 496 meters above the water, making many people dare not look below. At many times, photographers have captured the scene it is covered with clouds.

Many experts say that Siduhe is one of the symbols demonstrating the outstanding development of the road and bridge infrastructure system of the country of billions of people.

At that time, the bridge was so high that the nearest competitor in Mexico was also 100 meters lower than it. This bridge is also 205 meters higher than the Royal Gorge Bridge in Colorado.

Siduhe Bridge opened on November 15, 2009, located about 80km south of the three famous gorges of the Yangtze River, in Hubei province, China. It is one of many advanced works in the final 483km project of the 2,175km West Hurong Expressway, connecting Shanghai, Chongqing and Chengdu.

Siduhe has 4 lanes and is about 1,222 meters long. It has a similar structure to the popular suspension bridge system with concrete H-shaped bridge towers, pylons and suspension systems.

A special feature, due to the height and difficult-to-access terrain, when building, instead of using hot air balloons or helicopters to bring the pilot cable through the valley, the construction team of this bridge launched rockets from mountain to mountain. This made Siduhe famous all over the world. It is known that the construction cost of the bridge is about 100 million USD (more than 2.3 trillion VND).

It is not only a traffic route, but also a construction that shows China's outstanding construction ability. Standing on the bridge, visitors can see the beautiful scenery of the Sidu River as well as experience the feeling of moving on an "unthinkable" height.
