The "Big Bend" project was described as the world's longest building by design consisting of two towers standing parallel and connected by a domed curve, Sun reported on March 23. . The 1,219-long building was born when engineers sought to build the best skyscraper that met the city's strict planning regulations.

"New York City regulations require builders to find ways to circumvent the law to maximize the height of the property, but what if our building is long instead of tall? Big Bend could become the most reasonable architectural solution for the height restrictions of the city, "said the director of the Oiio design bureau responsible for the project.

The building will be located in Billionaire's Row in New York. Besides the interior, the building will be fitted with a system of bends that move in a circular fashion.
